In 1944, Wm. B. Coggins, Inc. announced they were introducing a new line of pull toys to retail for only ten and fifteen cents. The new animal characters, even through low in price, were substantially made of pressed-wood and colorfully finished. The company was also known for their inexpensive tops and spinners.
