Krieger Novelty Company introduced this beautiful line of pull toys in 1926. They were advertised as “Lifelike Designs”, “Brilliant Coloring”, “Abundant Action” and “Sturdily Built” with a realistic bucking movement produced by their patented double-action features. As best we can determine, there are eighteen different designed toys in this line. These toys will be well identifiable since each toy will carry its name. When they were introduced, they sold from $9 per dozen for single riders to $12 per dozen for double riders to retailers.
