All-Fair Toys and Games
AKA: Alderman, Fairchild Company
All-Fair Incorporated
Churchville, New York
1926 – 1952
All-Fair Toys and Games branched off of Alderman-Fairchild Company of Rochester, NY in 1926 and moved to Churchville, New York. At the time, Herman Fisher was promoted to vice president of the new company. In 1930, Mr. Fisher made an unsuccessful attempt to buy the All-Fair Toy Company. Still wanting to start his own toy company, Mr. Fisher moved to East Aurora, New York and created Fisher-Price with Irving Price and Helen Schelle.
All-Fair Toys command a high value because of their rarity, bright colors and movement, their association with Herman Fisher and their similarity to early Fisher-Price Toys. Many collectors of vintage Fisher-Price will add All-Fair toys to their collections.
